Profound VIBRA vibration monitoring

VIBRA
Profound VIBRA series

With the new VIBRA range, Profound launched its newest generation of vibration monitoring systems.

The Profound VIBRA is a robust, lightweight, stand-alone system for the monitoring of vibrations which can cause damage to buildings or sensitive equipment.

Profound has developed 3 different VIBRA's to meet the individual requirements of international clients: the VIBRA, the VIBRA-sbr and the VIBRA+ with GSM-option, smart alarm and automatic inclination measuring.

Independent of the chosen version of the VIBRA, it speaks for itself that the system is of national and international standards, such as the SBR 2002, the DIN 4150 and the DIN 45669.

Operation

Setting up the system on site is easy: attach the 3-dimensional sensor to the structure to be monitored, switch on the system and start measuring. During measuring the VIBRA displays date, time and the current vibration value of the 3 directions.

It is also possible to view the remaining battery capacity, available memory, frequency of all directions together with the highest peak value, maximum vibration levels. The VIBRA can also be left unattended to operate continuously for weeks.

Interpretation of measurement results

Once monitoring has been completed the VIBRA is connected via USB to a (portable) Windows computer for full analysis.
